Οι σύλλογοι «Serifos Friends» και «Cycladic Identity», υπό την αιγίδα του δήμου, παρουσίασαν το έργο τους για τη διατήρηση του μεταλλευτικού παρελθόντος της Σερίφου στο δημοτικό θέατρο με ένα πολύ μεγάλο κοινό.
The associations “Serifos Friends” and “Cycladic Identity“, under the auspices of the municipality, presented their work to preserve Serifos’ mining past to a very large audience in the Chora theater.
Μετά τις παρουσιάσεις των διοργανωτών, προβλήθηκε βίντεο με συνεντεύξεις πρώην μεταλλωρύχων και απογόνων τους, καθώς και παρουσίαση του ψηφιακού λευκώμα στον ιστότοπο serifosfriends.gr και του όμορφου λευκώμα βιβλίο που ήταν διαθέσιμο προς πώληση εκείνο το βράδυ.
Following presentations by the organizers, a video screening of interviews with former miners and their descendants was shown, along with the presentation of the digital album on the website serifosfriends.gr and the beautiful album book available for purchase that evening.

Τέλος, μίλησαν πρώην μεταλλωρύχοι και απόγονοί τους, προσφέροντας συγκινητικές μαρτυρίες, μερικές φορές με χιουμοριστικά ανέκδοτα, συχνά με συγκινητικές αναμνήσεις συναδέλφων που χάθηκαν στα ορυχεία, όπου τα ατυχήματα ήταν τόσο συχνά. Finally, former miners and descendants spoke, offering moving testimonies, sometimes with humorous anecdotes, often with poignant memories of colleagues lost in the mines where accidents were so frequent. Of course, the 1916 strike was also mentioned, along with the miners killed when fighting for the eight-hour workday.
